Unified Raiders is a teen student-led group that believes the core of our group is Community Service. We have multiple opportunities for students to share their time and talent with others. Our group is for all teen students to come and go as their schedules permit. Our main focus has been the High School students but we have a handful of Middle School students attending. Our goal is to have one all school community service event this year and start tutoring programs and lunch mentoring sessions for Middle School students.
We meet on Thursday after school and students teach the Positive Action Curriculum to other students, This program has been very successful.
Our Middle School tutoring program has been running for a while. High School students can sign up to tutor in the Main office, as well as Middle School students are asked to sign up in the Media Center. We were asked by the principals in the in the Middle School and High School to start a couple programs in the school and our goal is to make them and succeed in doing so.
